LuMira is a private invitation-only community dedicated to mindfulness, spiritual practices, self-reflection, and personal development. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you use LuMira, we may collect:
Name or nickname;
Email address;
Preferred language;
Device time zone;
Session identifiers required for authentication.
Content You Create
We process:
Messages in community chats;
Messages sent to the community owner;
Images you upload;
Reactions and interactions;
Reports submitted to moderators;
Consultation requests.
Private conversations with the community owner are protected using end-to-end encryption. Community chat messages are stored in encrypted form.
Technical Information
We may collect:
Device type;
Operating system version;
App version;
Push notification token;
Anonymous analytics events.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used to:
Provide and maintain the app;
Deliver daily Rune notifications and other messages;
Enable chat functionality;
Improve stability and user experience;
Prevent abuse and maintain community safety;
Process reports and moderation actions.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data.
To operate LuMira, limited information may be processed by:
Google Firebase Analytics;
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs);
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM);
Expo Push Services;
Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Squidex CMS.
These providers may process data on servers located outside your country.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
Precise location data;
Contacts from your device;
Photos or files outside those you intentionally upload;
Information from other applications.
5. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including:
Encrypted connections (TLS);
Encrypted storage;
Access controls and monitoring;
Limited administrative access.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
6. Data Retention
Community messages may be retained only for the period necessary to operate the service.
If you delete your account, recovery may be available for up to 30 days. After that period, personal information is permanently removed.

LuMira is intended for individuals aged 16 years or older.
Users under 16 should not use the service without parental involvement.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Continued use of LuMira after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

Account deletion
You can delete your LuMiRa account at any time. After a 30-day recovery window, the deletion is permanent and irreversible.
In the app
Open the app → Profile → Delete Account. Your account is marked as deleted immediately; signing back in within 30 days restores it. After the grace period the profile, chat history (group and private), attachments, and any data linked to the account are permanently removed.
Without access to the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email the address below with the subject "Account deletion request" and the email address you used to sign in. We verify your identity via that address and delete the account within 30 business days. lumira@kovtunart.com
What we may retain
Minimal logs required by law (moderation, abuse prevention, tax records) may be kept for up to 12 months in an anonymised form. This applies only where immediate deletion would conflict with legal obligations.
